Is The New Zealand 6.3 Quake Can Be One of the Signs of the Time?

The news seem stabbed me at the heart, thinking that 65 people have died, and hundreds are still trapped at the city of Christchurch in New Zealand after a 6.3 magnitude earthquake rocked the country on February 22, 2011.
It was indeed a terrifying moment for the people in New Zealand and to all the people in every parts of the world.

The news said that this phenomenon can be regarded as the most deadly natural disaster that hit the country in 80 years.

The quake struck as a thief while everybody are busy taking their lunch. There were heartbreaking testimonies that you can see clearly that they were deeply shocked by what had happened:

"I was in the square right outside the cathedral -- the
whole front has fallen down and there were people running from
there. There were people inside as well," said John Gurr, a camera technician who was in the city centre when the quake hit.

"I thought the best place was under the desk but the ceiling
collapsed on top, I can't move and I'm just terrified," office
worker Anne Voss told TV3 news.

Because of this devastating phenomenon, many are asking if the end is really at hand. Comments are mainly centered on the second coming of the Lord and that everybody must repent now and return back to Jesus.

Julius commented: Please read your Bible in the book of Matthew Chapter 24, No one knows the 2nd coming of Jesus Christ but he gives us sign before he returns to receives from his own those who keep his commandments and have the testimony of Jesus.. Jey Stronghold uttered: This is only an awakening that we Christian should help each other, just like AU they having flood and more to come, because they are not doing anything to help Christian country. for example in US they are now in a stage of collapsing the economy because what they do, they helping the non-Christian country. There are so many Christian country that need help, but what did the riches country do they do not help them, thats why the awakenings happen.

Jojo Said: Brothers and sisters around the world, these happenings around the globe are signs that we as human beings had committed countless sins and done so many mistakes during our lives, that we had forgotten that we are God's creation and subject to God's commandments. My God and your God is now trying to remind us, through these happenings, to repent for our sins, renounce evil and go back to His kingdom.Our salvation as a planet lies not on any material thing being invented right now, but our renewed faith in our Redeemer, our God Almighty Father, our saviour, our protector, our refuge.
